Message for Students
Language and media quietly shape not only how we see war, migration, discrimination and exclusion, but also how solidarity and hope become possible. In this course, we will pause to question what we usually take for granted and examine the structures behind global risks and inequalities, using materials such as news, social media, literature and music. By moving between different languages, histories and societies, my aim is that you learn to formulate your own questions in your own words and to engage in thoughtful dialogue with others.
